The nearby pub was a highlight with its friendly staff and delicious meals. the TV in the bedroom was a nice touch, though the bed springs were a bit squeaky. We enjoyed spending evenings by the log burner, despite the remnants of ashes on arrival. the owner was also very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. As a couple who enjoy self-catering and exploring new areas, this cottage was the perfect choice for our first stay in a holiday home. the location near activities like golfing and cycling, as well as attractions like the Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre, made for a memorable trip. the convenient private parking and free WiFi were added bonuses. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and look forward to staying at Pollard Cottage again in the future.
